What it is
Digital experiences and portals for customer and partner self-service. Replaced the legacy Customer Portal and Partner Portal. 'Alumni Cloud' was vertical solution branding and templates for higher education, not an official product rename. The Experience Cloud name was often confused with Lightning Experience and generic 'customer experience' terms. Partner relationship management capabilities were split out into Partner Cloud. Still uses Experience Builder as the site builder tool. Now sold as the Self-Service add-on for Service Cloud, with Service Portal licenses.
